Maybe it’s a residual from marching band days, but I like thematic crescendos. (Think about that wall of sound when the whole band is facing the grandstand, marching towards you, instruments up, and playing their hearts out.)
And for you non-marching band enthusiasts, here’s another alt/modern rock deep cut to drive home the point: “Music for a Nurse” (Oceansize)
Will appeal to GK to start a separate thread on crescendos and appeal to readers to submit their favorite visual, musical, culinary, emotional, or other crescendos…
