The Rains of Castamere

The Game of Thrones epsisode, Blackwater, from this Sunday was nothing short of a spectacular imaging of the Battle of Blackwater. That and outstanding performances from both Lena Headey (Cersei) and Peter Dinklage (Tyrion) mark this episode as the best of the season so far, not to mention bookending the episode with the Lannister song, ‘The Rains of Castamere,’ from the Game of Thrones Season 2 Soundtrack by The National.

Awesome Spring is Even More Awesome

Spring is early and warm in St. Louis, the kids are starting baseball practice, the Blues are cruising into the playoffs, my back has mostly recovered, and the first Actionsuitiversary is tomorrow. What could possibly make this spring more awesome you ask?  Well, the second season of Game of Thrones is just around the corner. HBO has released this excellent review of the first season and preview of the second through the eyes of the actors, writers, and producers.
