After an incredible night of 1st round NHL playoff games I’m in dire need of some soothing and calming music and video before I jump back into the breach tonight. Earth porn and new age music? Thanks NASA hipsters!

Gentleman, Start Your Beards
The NHL playoffs begin tonight. Time to start your playoff beards gentlemen.

- The NHL and NBC took baby steps this year to increase the number of games you’ll be able to see but archaic broadcast rights rules still plague the NHL Playoffs, making some teams and games difficult or impossible to see depending on your cable/satellite provider and geographic location.
- You can watch the first four Blues games for free at select Wehrenberg theaters in St. Louis. Besides the novelty I’m not sure why you wouldn’t just go to a sports bar though.

Tribute to Friendly Officers – Dukes of Hazzard – The Jumps
A dedication to the fine officer who pulled me over this morning on the way to work (doing 35 in a 30). I was let go with a warning, but not before I eyed a tractor unloading on the side of the road about a 100 yards in front of me leaving a perfect getaway ramp a la Dukes of Hazzard.
